Although They look great in the picture, they are really dangerous.
I Had to guess how to install them, it did not come with instructions
The hook does not attach well to bike rack, infact not at all it just hangs there. Its just a rubber coated u shaped piece of metal not ridged, or crimped for snap on or snug fit.
The small bungy for the back side of the bag slid off and into the bike gear, stopped the bike, I flipped off , then headed to the emergency room. not good.
While riding I had to keep looking in the rear mirror to make sure they are not dragging on the road. They fell off 6 times on my first ride out with them.I tried securing them with zip ties.
The weight of thegroceries pushes and bends the bag back toward the wheel spokes and rub into them.
Everything I have done to try to make it work has failed.I found it so hard to believe that the hooks would be so small and useless.Worst part of this is after only 2 days of use they look so beaten up I cant possible return them
The bottom line is always safety. These bags should really be recalled.
I have now ordered the Wald 582 wire baskets to replace these. the reviews are good and they seem to be functional and safe.
I through the Sunlite bags in the car and use them for whatever.
